Changes and Cancellations

No. We advise our guests to take out travel and cancellation insurance for a planned holiday. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer this service ourselves. Please note that cancellation insurance often has to be taken out within 7 days of the booking date, so do not wait too long.

This is possible up to 28 days before arrival.

From 27 days before arrival, the costs are 100% and rescheduling is no longer possible.

Please contact us so that we can discuss the options (and any change fees) with you.

Our cancellation policy can be found in our General Terms and Conditions, Article 15.

Extras

Extras (such as bed linen, towels, a high chair, etc.) can be added during the booking process. Have you already booked? Then you can do this via My bookings.

The accommodations are not the property of BHVK, BHVK acts as an intermediary between the owner of the accommodation and the tenant.

For this, we kindly refer you to our contact form.

All important (emergency) numbers can be found in the arrival email that we will send you shortly before your arrival.

There is also an information folder in the accommodation upon arrival where you can find important telephone numbers. These include numbers for reception, alarm/emergency services, GP care and the police.

Pets

For each property listed on our website, it is indicated whether dogs are allowed in the holiday home or not.

You can search for accommodations where pets are allowed. Select ‘pets allowed’ in the search field.

Yes, additional charges apply per (maximum permitted) pet.

The additional charges will be stated during the booking process.

Depending on the owner of the accommodation, either 1 dog or multiple dogs are allowed. Please check with the accommodation to see how many dogs are allowed.

Dogs are not allowed to do their business in the garden or along the access road. If this does happen, you must dispose of the dog waste.

Yes. BHVK Leisure has a pet policy.

Shortly before arrival, this will be sent to you by email together with the house rules. Please read this carefully.

It may be possible to book a period that is not yet available online. Please contact us so that we can explore the options together.

Sometimes, outside of the busy high season, it is possible to arrive and depart on a different day. Please contact us so that we can discuss the options together.

Additional persons must be registered in advance with BHVK Leisure. This is in connection with the tourist tax and the purchase of additional bed linen packages (mandatory for all persons aged 3 years and older).

Please note! It is not permitted to accommodate more guests than the maximum number of persons for which your holiday home is suitable.

Children

Yes, there are several residences with extra facilities for children.

You can find this on the tab Features. If these are not present in the property, you always have the possibility to order these extra when booking.

No, this is not available,please bring your own with you.

No, for all persons aged 3 years and older is linen available for children under 3 years of age you may reorder extra linen.

Final cleaning

You can find this information when booking your preferred accommodation.

If you rent over BHVK Leisure cleaning is always a compulsory purchase.

When you leave your accommodation, please take care of some issues. These are listed in the informationmap which is located at the property.

Arrival

You can check in until 17.00. Later arrival is also possible. Please contact your local contact.

You can check in from 15:00 hours. PLEASE NOTE: during the months of July and August from 16:00 hours.

You will find these instructions in your confirmation email, which you will receive after making your reservation.

Shortly before your arrival, you will also receive an arrival email with all the necessary information for your stay.

Departure

No, if you depart on Sunday, you can check out before 6 PM (18:00).

You must deposit the key into the letterbox at the key address (checkin office) or (if available) place it back in the key safe.

This is possible, please leave the key in the mailbox at your "keyadress" or (if available) place it back in the key safe.

Let this always know to your contactperson at location, by phone or email.

You need to leave the accommodation before 9:30 a.m.(except on Sundays).

When you leave your accommodation, please take care of some things like:

Leave th house broom clean, emptied fireplace, empty dishwasher,collectand leave linens on the doorstep.

All these matters are also listed in the informationmap (see departure checklist) located in the holiday house.

Internet

If internet is availabe in the accommodation, you can use this free of charge, unless otherwise stated.

Please refer to the desired accommodation for this information.

BHVK Leisure encourages all owners to install a WiFi Internet connection.

During your stay, you will find the WiFi password in the information folder located in the accommodation.

Bed linen

It is not necessary to bring your own bed linen.

Bed linen is provided as standard in the accommodation (for the specified number of persons aged 3 years and older) and the purchase of this is mandatory through BHVK Leisure. For children under 3 years of age, you can optionally order extra bed linen or bring your own."

Bed linen set includes 1 duvet cover, 1 pillowcase and bottom sheet.

The bed linen will be ready for you in the accommodation upon your arrival. This also applies to the extra chosen options that you ordered in advance."

You can bring your own linen, however, you can not claim any discount or refund on the rent.

This is possible. You can send an email with your wishes, arrival date, the name of the accommodation, and your reservation number.

You can pay the additional costs online or upon check-in.

No, the beds are not made up as standard.

When making your reservation, you can hire made-up beds on arrival as an extra option.

Bed linen is compulsory for persons aged 3 years and older. Additional bed linen for younger children sleeping in a ‘large’ bed can be booked separately.

No, a towel package is not included as standard with your stay.

You can add this when making your reservation, or you can book it later.

The towel package consists of two large towels and one small towel.

Yes, you can rent a kitchen package as an extra option when making your reservation.

The kitchen package consists of 2 tea towels and 2 hand towels."

You can book additional options up to 3 days before arrival.

Additional options that you have not booked in advance can usually be collected and paid for at our office.

Smoking

No, smooking isn`t allowed in our accommodations.

Inventory

For your desired accommodation (online), you can see what is available at the accommodation under the heading ‘Features’.

If bicycles are mentioned at the accommodation, BHVK Leisure can not guarantee that these bikes are in good condition.BHVK Leisure takes no responsibility for bicycles.

Only electric barbecues are permitted. These are not provided as standard at the accommodation. For many of the properties we offer, you can book a Weber Q2400 electric barbecue as an option. Please note: Barbecues provided by BHVK Leisure must be cleaned by the tenant after use.

Towels, tea towels, tablecloths, cleaning products, bath mats, kitchen roll, toilet paper, garden chair cushions, etc. are NOT provided as standard in the holiday home and you must bring these with you. Sun loungers are also not always provided as standard in the holiday home.

Payments

If you want a binding reservation you must make a (remit) payment using one of the online payment options.

The second payment must be made 56 days before the start of your stay. You will receive a reminder by email In time.

You can also find this information when you are logged in at your Leisure Time account under ‘My Bookings’.

If the period of arrival is longer than 3 months, you can make a down payment first.

The remaining amount (excluding the deposit) must be paid 2 months before arrival.

If you make a reservation within 3 months, you must pay the entire booking amount (excluding the deposit).

The deposit must be paid no later than 7 days before arrival.

Deposit

The deposit must be paid no later than 7 days before the arrival date.

The deposit, or any remaining balance thereof, will be refunded to you within two weeks of your departure.

The amount of the deposit is dependent of the rented accommodation. The amount can be found at the booking of an accommodation.
