Comfortable 1960s design home on the edge of the dunes
Between dunes, sea and salty air you’ll find Kaatje Mossel. A charming red Swedish-style house located at ’t Ongerepte 21 in Renesse. Here you can stay with up to six guests, within walking distance of the beach, right in one of the most beautiful areas of Zeeland. The house combines retro charm with modern comfort, featuring a stylish 1960s design interior.
The cosy living room with open-plan kitchen includes a flat-screen TV with a wide range of channels. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor and one on the first floor. The comfortable box-spring beds are 2.10 metres long. Air conditioning is available both upstairs and downstairs. The house offers a modern shower and a separate toilet.
Outside, you can enjoy a sunny garden, a covered terrace, and for wellness lovers, a barrel sauna with outdoor shower. An electric car can easily be charged at the house, and there are three private parking spaces. Directly next to the garden is a small play area, perfect for hours of fun with games such as Jeux de Boules, Kubb, beach ball and football.
The surrounding area offers endless beach enjoyment, cycling routes through dunes and polders, and charming villages such as Burgh-Haamstede and Renesse. You’ll find plenty of restaurants serving Zeeland specialities. The historic town of Zierikzee and the Watersnoodmuseum are well worth a visit. And how about seal spotting at the Brouwersdam?
