This is by far the most idyllic place in Renesse, family home "Saartje aan Zee"!
Just a short distance away from the beach, our beautiful holiday home "Saartje aan Zee" is situated along a quiet shell path. Schouwen-Duiveland is beloved among sun and nature enthusiasts, offering abundant opportunities for both sports and cultural activities near Renesse. In Renesse, you can explore numerous shops or indulge in local dining.
The detached house is uniquely located amidst green forests. The house features a cozy living room with a fireplace and a great view of the very spacious garden and the forest beyond. Adjacent is the dining area with an open kitchen which is fully equipped. Next to the dining area is the utility room where there is ample space to store everything. For the children, there is a delightful corner under the stairs in the hallway, where they can play games or read a book.
On the ground floor, there are two large bedrooms, a luxurious bathroom with a bathtub, and an additional separate toilet. On the first floor, there are three more bedrooms, one of which is a smaller bedroom with a single bed. Here, you'll find the same luxurious bathroom as downstairs, complete with all the amenities. The first floor is heated electrically, while the ground floor has floor heating.
From the living room/kitchen, there are three different doors that lead into the garden. Various terraces are scattered around the house, providing cozy spots for shared meals or enjoying sunny days. The garden features a large lawn and a trampoline where children can play. Due to the location and the lack of fencing around the garden, you will often find deer and rabbits in youyr own garden. Your pets are also very welcome here.
In this delightful holiday home, it's wonderful to stay all year round!

The house was really nice, clean, nice design, very comfortable beds.
Our only remark/regret is that for the price we paid, the bathroom towels and the kitchen towels were not included, nor a little "welcome pack" including a couple of dishwasher tablets and dishwashing liquid to get by for 2 days (this is always included when we order the bedlinen kit in campsites or in chalets in Switzerland). The temperature was also a bit too low in the living room and we did not manage to understand how to increase it.
Prachtig huis : smaakvol ingericht met mooie grote tuin waar af en toe de reeën en hazen langs onze ramen liepen.
We hebben genoten van het huis/tuin en de flora en fauna! Ook de omgeving is zeer de moeite waard.
Sommige aspecten van het modern ingerichte huis waren voor ons een uitdaging:
Met het inductie koken was niemand van ons bekend dus dat zorgde aanvankelijk voor problemen
Magnetron zou misschien handig zijn.
Het elektrisch te bedienen raam in één van de kamers werkte niet alsmede de (voor ons) moeilijk te bedienen knop bij de radiator beneden in de badkamer.
Maar al met al een bijzonder mooi huis waar wij met plezier hebben vertoefd!
De Saartjes (70+) Annelies Toos Els Anja Pia
Een prachtig en praktisch familiehuis, heel ruimtelijk van ontwerp. Als je binnen zit maak je visueel tegelijk mee wat buiten is, en andersom. Zo zagen we een hertje langs wandelen. Het huis is qua geluid goed geïsoleerd: het feestje van de buren hoorden we binnen niet. Verder was er alles wat we nodig hadden om te genieten van onze vakantie.

Betten sind allerdings für unser Alter (ü60) etwas hart ;-)
Die Lage ist super. Nah zum Strand und nicht weit in den Ort (3 min. mit dem Rad durch den Wald).
Der Blick ins Grüne aus dem Haus ist toll. Auch sonst alles gemütlich und praktisch eingerichtet.
Vermisst haben wir nur Kaffeebecher :)), die kleinen Tassen waren etwas unpraktisch. Das lässt sich bestimmt noch ändern.
Alle samt Baby und Hund waren gut zufrieden.
